Reformer Pilates and fit
What should I wear to reformer Pilates?
Close-fitting, opaque leggings or shorts, a supportive but not high-impact sports bra, and grip socks. Loose clothing catches in the springs and straps, and anything low-rise rolls down when you lie on the carriage. Our guide to what to wear to reformer Pilates covers the full kit.
Which VYVRA leggings are best for reformer Pilates?
The Elevate V-Legging (£58). Its high-rise crossover V-waist sits above the hips and stays put when you roll back on the carriage, and the SoftHold knit is opaque in a deep fold. The Core Flow Legging (£56) is our everyday legging, second-skin with a clean high rise, for mat, barre and the rest of the day. See the two compared side by side.
Are VYVRA leggings squat-proof and opaque?
Yes. They are cut from SoftHold, a dense, matte knit that stays opaque in deep lunges, forward folds and legs-in-straps work. Medium compression, so they hold without the tight feel of running tights.
What is SoftHold fabric?
SoftHold is the fabric every VYVRA piece is cut from: a dense, matte four-way stretch knit in 75% polyester and 25% elastane. It hugs the body without squeezing, keeps its shape wash after wash and dries quickly. It is not recycled polyester.
Which sports bra should I wear for reformer Pilates?
The Pulse Bra (£45): a high-neck racer with medium support, no clasps or hardware at the back, so it stays comfortable when you lie on the carriage. The Edge Bra (£45) is a one-shoulder bra for studio classes, low-impact training and the rest of the day.
Do I need grip socks for reformer Pilates?
Most UK studios require them, for grip on the carriage and hygiene. We do not sell grip socks yet; any pair with silicone grips on the sole will do.
Will the waistband roll down when I lie on the carriage?
Not the Elevate. Its crossover V-waistband sits above the hips with no drawcord, so there is nothing to roll or press into your back on the carriage. The Core Flow has a softer, second-skin rise made for everyday wear rather than the carriage.
What size should I order?
VYVRA runs in UK sizes 6 to 16 (XS to XL). Measure your waist and hips and compare them with the size guide, which lists body and garment measurements for every piece. If you are between sizes, size up. UK exchanges are free, both ways.
Orders and delivery
Where do you ship?
The United Kingdom and the European Union. Shipping costs and delivery times are shown at checkout.
How long does delivery take and what does it cost?
UK Standard: 2 to 5 working days, £4.50, free on orders over £65. UK Express: 1 to 2 working days, £8.50; Express orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are delivered the next working day. EU: 5 to 10 working days, €7, free on orders over €100, with taxes and duties included at checkout and no extra charges on delivery. EU orders are currently limited to about €178 including taxes. Do you offer Klarna?
Yes. Klarna is available at checkout to split your purchase into instalments or pay later, subject to Klarna approval. If you return an item, your Klarna plan is updated once the return is processed.
Returns and exchanges
What if my item does not fit?
UK exchanges are free, both ways, to find the right size or colour. If you prefer, choose store credit with a £5 bonus, valid for 12 months.
Do you offer refunds?
For non-faulty returns we offer exchanges or store credit, with a free UK return label. EU returns of non-faulty items can be exchanged or returned for store credit, with a €5 handling fee; return shipping for EU orders is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Refunds are issued for faulty or incorrect items, orders cancelled before dispatch, and wherever the law requires it, including the statutory 14-day right to cancel an online order. How do I start a return or exchange?
Through our Returns Portal. If your item is faulty or incorrect, contact us first at support@vyvra.com.
Care
How do I wash VYVRA pieces?
Machine wash cold at 30°C, inside out, with similar colours. Do not tumble dry, bleach or use fabric softener; heat and softener are what make elastane lose its hold. Hang to dry and keep velcro and zips away from the knit in the wash.

Who is VYVRA?
VYVRA is a London-based women's activewear brand (Vyvra Ltd, company number 16272884). We make a small edit of eight pieces designed for reformer Pilates and the rest of the day, produced in small runs and sold at vyvra.com.
Is VYVRA only for Pilates?
No. Reformer Pilates is where the pieces are tested, but they are designed for the full day: the studio, the school run, work, a walk, coffee. Held, not held in.
Do you have a physical shop?
Not yet. We sell online at vyvra.com and ship to the UK and EU.
